i have a little bit of a funny story. these images were all taken in about fifteen minutes and in a bouncy chair on top of a bed with the vibration maker on, white noise going in the background, and lots of whispering. isabelle's mommy, leslie, had pee on one half of her shirt and spit up on the other (she's pretty much a champion). we swaddled, shushed, fed, and rocked all we could, but isabelle was not feeling well. after a rough first attempt at her shoot at eleven days old, we threw in the towel and made plans to have me return to try again. by sixteen days old isabelle's belly was having trouble and she was uncomfortable. things don't always go as planned. babies don't always sleep even when we try every trick up our sleeves. but, i always try my hardest to create the images that parents want and need of their precious little ones.
