my love affair with photography started in high school where i spent countless hours shooting in b&w film with my mother's old minolta and working in the darkroom.
i am committed to providing affordable, professional quality images to my clients and their families. photography has always been very sentimental to me and i believe that having and making photographs always fulfills a need. whether that need is to celebrate a new life growing inside, remember all the details of a brand new baby, mark a milestone, or validate a new time in your life; photography can do that. when i think back on my own life, i tend to see memories first as still images. i want to ensure that you and your family have photographs that capture the true essence of where you are in your lives.
i trained in photography under my sister, amber, for about four years before starting my own business. i continue to second shoot weddings with her and owe her a great deal of credit for helping me to develop my passion for photography.
i hold a bachelor's degree in liberal arts and sciences with a concentration in psychology from the harriet l. wilkes honors college of florida atlantic university.
i would not be the person i am today without the love and support of my husband, austin. we were high school sweethearts and we continue to grow with each other daily. he gets me through the tough times and makes celebrating the good times that much sweeter.
