max: seventeen days

max was a sweet little boy with a big appetite and a preference not to sleep. i think we still got some super sweet images of this little one. special thanks to sara and zach for inviting me to photograph max.

james: fourteen days

i met james at 14 days old and i must say, he is a handsome little man. i love babies with dark hair! james was not into sleeping and who could blame him? he didn't want to miss out. i could not have gotten the sleeping photos without james' dad, mike. he rocked and soothed, put james down on the beanbag, helped get him into the right position, and left his warm hands gently holding james in the pose until the very last second when i would snap about 10 photos before james woke up and stirred again. we repeated the process several times. i was so thankful for the help.
